Makassar, Pembukaan Olympic of Statistics (OLS) HMPS Statistika FMIPA UNM Tahun 2022 yang dilaksanakan pada Sabtu, 17 September 2022. kegiatan Tersebut mengangkat tema “Enhancing Data Quality with Statistical Knowledge“.
Olympic of statistics merupakan kompetisi di bidang akademik khususnya di pengaplikasian ilmu statistika yang dimana mahasiswa aktif pendidikan Vokasi (D1, D2, D3, D4) dan Strata (S1) di seluruh Indonesia (yang mendaftar di kegiatan ini) akan saling bersaing untuk menjadi juara. Ada 5 event dalam Olympic of Statistics yang terdiri dari Olimpiade Statistika, Kompetisi Infografis, Kompetisi Essay, Kompetisi Video Kestatistikaan, dan Seminar Nasional & Workshop Statistika.
Pembukaan Olympic of Statistics (OLS) HMPS Statistika FMIPA UNM Tahun 2022 berlangsung di Baruga Anging Mammiri yang diselenggarakan secara luring dan juga daring, kegiatan tersebut dihadiri oleh Ketua Program Studi Statistika FMIPA UNM serta Pembina HMPS Statistika FMIPA UNM Tahun 2022 . Pembukaan tersebut dibuka langsung oleh Ketua Program Studi Statistika FMIPA UNM yaitu ibunda Dr. Ruliana, S.Pd., M. Si.
Ketua Program Studi Statistika FMIPA UNM berharap dengan adanya kegiatan Olympic of Statistics ini dapat membawa manfaat di bidang keilmuan statistik.
“Saya berharap semoga kegiatan Olympic of Statistics ini membawa manfaat yang sebesar-besarnya untuk pengembangan keilmuan di bidang statistik”.
Kegiatan pembukaan Olympic of Statistics ini dirangkaikan dengan Seminar Nasional & Workshop Statistika pada tanggal 17-18 September 2022.
